I think a lot of it stems in the fact that whenever i try losing weight and getting into shape i go for at least 2 weeks to 2 months (which if you do everyday is a LOT of work) i went to the gym every day for the last 2 weeks, minus Sunday's. but i lost 2 pounds in 2 weeks even though i changed my eating habits pretty drastically(for the better) and was now burning at least 500-700 calories per workout. if you think about it that is a lot of hard work.
2 pounds?
seriously?
that's less than 1 percent of my body weight.
all my clothes are fitting just as tight so it's not like I'm changing fat into muscle (muscle weighs more than fat argument invalid) and i am not trying to be rude but i lose more weight in one trip to the restroom.
so in my analytically based mind I'm trying to rationalize spending x amount of dollars a month to spend an hour and a half per day (that's 9 hours a week) to just "feel" a little more healthy.
so I'm at a size in clothes i don't like and a weight i dislike but feel like there isn't much i can do to change that.

i think in my mind I'm wishing there was a regimen that didn't cost $100 a month that was guaranteed to take at least 2 pounds off a week. if you followed it exactly. if someone had such an item, i would be on that like green on grass.
that might get me to my goal in less than a year. since i'm that overweight. i'm 60 pounds over my post mission weight. so yeah. trying to psycho myself into it again.
