A conversation between Alma and Abigail

So, Abby is pretending to be a baby and Alma is taking care of her.
She keeps telling Alma that she wants her blanket -she pronounces it 'make it'- and he can't understand her.
He keeps asking "You wants your make up?" She'll say no, but that she wants her make it. This has been going on for 3 minutes, and he just started trying to distract her with other things; he's asking if she wants cuddles, her bunny, even his puppy, anything he can think of (all things that he LOVES).
He decided that he wanted to lay down (in Ammon's bed), told Abby that he wanted cuddles, his puppy and blanket.
Abby got sad and said that she wanted her blanket too. Alma came back in his sweet little voice and said "Oh! You want your bank-et?! Here, I tuck you in Abby".

makes me happy

Too Much Information

This is completely too much information, but I wouldn't be Missy if I didn't share :) Abby was sitting on the potty for over an hour and finally peed, I started putting a diaper on her and she asked if she was going to get a sucker. I told her she has to poo for a sucker, but that she'd get a treat for going pee pee. She flipped. She said "No. Mom, I want sucker". Got up, sat on the potty and said "Mom. I go poopy. I want sucker." She got bored after 5 minutes and let me get her dressed. (She did get 2 candy corn though) :)

Alma drinking tomato soup

Alma likes to put his whole face in the bowl when drinking tomato soup :) I'm so proud!

Gave abby a haircut!!

Abby's hair wasn't curling on top, so I trimmed the bottom (1/4 inch) and gave her layers. Can't believe I cut her hair!! I've been thinking about it a lot, but didn't think I'd actually do it. Ahhh!

Frogs

Took the kids on a walk aroing the pond tonight, big kids (1.5 and 2.5 counts as big kids now) in the stroller and Ammon in the papoose.
We heard lots and lots of frogs but didn't see any. Abby asked me if it was a little train - her words were "Mom? Little bit choo choo?". I told her they were frogs and that we couldn't see them right now, but we could hear them.
On the way home she had a huge burp. Her eyes got huge and then she smiled big laughed and said "Mom! Frog in my mouth!"
And we will forever blame burps on the frogs in our mouths :)
