Peter Pan and Tinkerbell

So, last year I decided that the kids were going to be pan and tink for Halloween this year. Tyler just realized over the last couple weeks that I was planning on making the costumes (didn't go so well last year...aka had hours of sewing to do the day of). So, I might be a little ahead of schedule, but at least we wont be repeating history this year...unless in true missy form, I decide to change my about what we're going to be the week of-yes, I'm dressing up too (Tyler will have a costume, I'll let you know Nov. 1 if he wore it). These are the pictures I took today. After a day of sewing with one of them in my lap, and when I really should have been putting them into bed (they had their pajamas on, but I was too excited to get pictures of them together...guess it wouldn't be too bad if they weren't still up while I'm writing this, because I just couldn't wait).

Reorganizing the Silverware

The kids are Completely reorganizing the Sulverware drawer- with half of it going into their mouth before it gets put away.

Guess I know what I'll be doing during naps :)

Abby with straight hair

I started doing my hair this morning, right after giving the kids their baths. Abby was wanting me to do her hair too, (Tyler usually stops me after the blow dryer, but he's in St. George for the guy trip) and I did. Straightener and all. Alma was getting a little jealous, so he got his hair dried too.

Abi-ism's

So Abi is responding a lot more to our questions and comments. I have been wanting to note these for awhile so I’m going to just upload a few here.

The other day we were sitting at a stoplight. After a few seconds Abi yelled out, “Daddy GO!.... Daddy GO!” Since I didn’t budge, she thinks for a moment, than says, “Mommy, I want Daddy GO!”

So 30 seconds later, after several requests from Abi, the light finally turning green, and us stifling our laughter, I went. As soon as we we entered the intersection Abi lets out a, “YAAAAY!”

Just yesterday, we were driving home and were just a block away from home. As I drove through the roundabout in our neighborhood, a car which probably should have yielded to me in the roundabout went ahead of me. I just blurt out, “Go right ahead friend.” Abi quickly responds with, “They aren’t friend.” This got me and Missy laughing so hard it was a few seconds before I could respond to Abi’s comment. After maybe 10 seconds, I finally got out, “Abi, you’re so nice,” with which she immediately responded, “YEP!” Our laughter continued on for another long time.

I know that I didn’t know Missy as a baby and child. However, I do know her well enough to know, that this is exactly what she was like. Abi really is so much fun to watch and listen to! She cracks us up almost everyday.
