Babies having 'babies'
Apparently, the children have noticed.
Case in point:
Abby keeps sticking her baby dolls up her shirt and waddles around the house holding her tummy(baby) and her back.
She was doing this a couple days ago, and was talking to Alma, telling him that her baby was all done growing and needed to come out. Alma said that he couldn't "be the doctor today, I have a baby in my tummy too" as he stuck a baby up his shirt too.
As Alma was positioning his baby, Abigail is laying on the bed talking about how her baby needed to come out and that it was 'time'. Ammon walked over, said "doctor" and then pointing to her tummy "baby".
Immediately after, Ammon leans over, grabs the baby's foot pulls it out of Abby's 'tummy' and yells "BABY! ....BOY!"
Just for the record, we are not pregnant. Nor are we trying (although I do have a tendency to give my mom bi-annual panic attacks when I 'hint' that I may, or may not be with child - love you, Mom!).

Today's prayer went like this:
Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for this day. Thank you for our food, that it can make us strong and happy. Thank you for Daddy, that he can work so hard for us, and be strong like a superhero. Thank you that Mommy can take us to the park today so that we can have so much fun(we don't have plans to go to the park today, the kids are sick). Thank you for Ammon, that he can be a missionary. Thank you for the missionaries, that they can be baptized (she's been mentioning baptism in her prayers since her cousin, Owen was baptized. In January. It is now mid-March). Thank you for Alma that he can share his toys so nice with me. Thank you for Abby, that she can be a princess, and have lots of princess... things. And we say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Hahaha! Loaded Prayer Much?

Alma is so thoughtful
Tyler's parents watched the kids for me, and the big kids (2 and 3 is big in our family) got to stay up late with them and watch Cinderella. It's so great to live close to family again! Leaving them with Grandma and Grandpa for 5 hours is much less stressful for me and easier on the kids, than leaving them with a babysitter who they would only see once a month. I really lucked out with my in-laws. Seriously. They're so great that I would go and hang out with them a couple times a week while Tyler was up at school. They are that much fun.
It's okay...you can be jealous, I probably would be too. Except that I have them. So I'm not.
So I was gonna tell a funny little story about Alma and got carried away setting it up.
We had a pretty late night, so this morning when the big kids woke up they went potty and them climbed into bed with me (Tyler's working up in Calabasas this week). Abby puts her clothes back on, but Alma takes everything off to go potty, brings me a fresh diaper, and we just don't bother with clothes for him until after breakfast (oatmeal washes off of skin more easily than Jammies).
{Wow. I am really good at going off on tangents}
Anyway, Alma's laying next to me in bed in his diaper and Abby goes back into their room, comes back and tells me that Alma wet his bed (through his previous diaper). I say that I'll have to wash his sheets. And then Alma, in his sweet croaky morning voice says that he'll keep my side of the bed warm; all while scooting towards me to help push me out of the bed.
Needless to say, there will be a little boy helping me do laundry today (they all actually beg to help with the laundry, I just felt like I needed to end with some snide little remark- maybe today I shouldn't let him help?) I'm not really upset, just in love with my sweet little two year old who knows how much I love a warm bed.

A conversation between Alma and Abigail
So, Abby is pretending to be a baby and Alma is taking care of her.
She keeps telling Alma that she wants her blanket -she pronounces it 'make it'- and he can't understand her.
He keeps asking "You wants your make up?" She'll say no, but that she wants her make it. This has been going on for 3 minutes, and he just started trying to distract her with other things; he's asking if she wants cuddles, her bunny, even his puppy, anything he can think of (all things that he LOVES).
He decided that he wanted to lay down (in Ammon's bed), told Abby that he wanted cuddles, his puppy and blanket.
Abby got sad and said that she wanted her blanket too. Alma came back in his sweet little voice and said "Oh! You want your bank-et?! Here, I tuck you in Abby".
makes me happy

Gave abby a haircut!!
Abby's hair wasn't curling on top, so I trimmed the bottom (1/4 inch) and gave her layers. Can't believe I cut her hair!! I've been thinking about it a lot, but didn't think I'd actually do it. Ahhh!
