Recipes

So, because we like so many different recipes of my mom's, and because it takes so long to copy those cards down into our own handwriting, we have made a recipe blog (typing is so much faster!). It's a compilation of all our own recipes, plus the ones from my memory as a kid, like the egg nog one i first made on my own when i was 12.

anyways. If you have any suggestions that you would like to add for everyone's benefit, please let me know and i will copy paste it in, so it can be searchable.

as is right now if you go to the blog and hit the "thanksgiving" tag, it will show you all the recipes that my mom has that i put in the computer that we would eat on thanksgiving. if you hit the "dessert" tag it will show you all the different dessert recipes. if you are thinking about making something with the chicken you have lying around, hit "chicken" and all the recipes with chicken in it will pop up.

i was thinking we could keep it to just family because there are plenty of sites out there that have thousands of recipes. but this can be our extended family cookbook.

also, if you make one of the recipes, take a picture of it, and i will update the recipe with your photo.

if you are reading this than you are welcome to submit recipes, i just don't want to be getting every recipe out there that has ever existed. pretty much the memory foods.

it's possible you may have a similar recipe with your own spin on it, if that is the case send it to me and i'll post it with your name on it that way we can still all try your version too!:)
